NOTES:   The Llano Estacado 2007 Chardonnay is a blend of 98% Chardonnay and 2% Viognier.  This wine was cold fermented in our stainless steel tanks to elevate the fruit character with a small portion being fermented in our new French Oak barrels to enhance complexity.  The oak fermented portion completed secondary (malo lactic) fermentation contributing to the mouth texture of the wine.

Our 2007 Chardonnay is a fragrant wine that has an aroma of peach and tropical fruit.  This fruit forward style of Chardonnay is compatible with spices such as dill, saffron, curry and rich cream sauces.  Excellent with fresh sea bass, scallops, or most chicken dishes.  Enjoy!
