Cabernet Sauvignon
Overview
2017 was an outstanding vintage across the state of Texas with near perfect weather during the growing season. This allowed the vines to yield a crop of ripe and mature grapes of intense flavor and structure. Our Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the terroir of West Texas with grapes sourced for this wine coming from several prominent high elevation sites including the Mont Sec Vineyard (West Texas), Carpenter Vineyard (West Texas), and Lilli of the Vine vineyard in the Texas High Plains AVA. Our 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, and 8% Malbec. Drink this wine now or bottle age through 2020 to evolve the bouquet and complexity of the wine.
Serve Cabernet Sauvignon at cool temperature (57-60 F) with Texas B-B-Q, grilled steak, wild game, or hearty pasta dishes.
