Harvest Viognier

Overview

Viognier is a white wine grape recognized as a noble variety in France where it is primarily grown in the northern Rhone district.  The Viognier grapevine has adapted well to our sun drenched Texas climate producing moderate yields of high quality grapes. The 2017 Viognier displays aromas of yellow apple, white peach, and ripe apricot with a dash of white pepper; this is followed by stone fruit and melon flavors, and refreshing acidity on the palate.

This medium bodied Viognier is ready to drink right away and pairs well with roast chicken, buttery white fish, and earthy, rich cheeses like Brie.

Serve cool at 45-50° F.
